Established in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, The DJO Events Group has been setting up the stages for new and seasoned performers to tear up, for more than a decade. As events promoters, we feel it’s our duty to make history every time we set up a stage. From large scale concerts featuring icons like Teisto to our most notable and legendary event – the Canadian DJ Olympics - or the DJO’s – we’ve been giving audiences something to talk about year after year.
For those of you who don’t know….you should….
The DJO’s have been touted as one of Canada’s greatest Hip Hop competitions year after year and has been the starting point for some of the real names in the game out there today. For some a starting point, for others just another notch in their belt; performers such Scratch Bastid, Buck 65, Speakerbruiser Rob, Ghettosox, EMC , Tai chi chi and thousands more throughout the competition’s storied history have called the DJO stage home at one time or another.
This year we’re at it again. The Legendary DJO’s are set to kick-off September 8th – 10th, 2011 at Club Soda & Palooka’s Gym as a part of HRM’s HOPSCOTCH FESTIVAL.
